A key focus of the Sonar-Cities project is the creation of the Social Sciences Emergency Support Network: a directory of experts in the social sciences, whose expertise can be called upon to support locally inclusive and ethical responses to health and disaster emergencies, when requested by national authorities or international response organisations.
This network builds upon the existing Sonar-Global Association directory, which was created during the Sonar Global project (2019-2022). By becoming a member of the Sonar-Global Association and, if you wish, the emergency network, you can help shape and support the role of social sciences in epidemic and disaster preparedness and response and contribute your valuable expertise in times of health or disaster emergencies.
